Important News...

I write this from a hotel in Grand Junction, Colorado. I drove here (unexpectedly) overnight. The news is that the girls will continue to live with us. The case was dismissed. They will continue to live with us for quite some time.

I had to drive out here to gather some crucial evidence. I can't go into the details, but I can say that our lawyer is a genius. She totally believed in what we are doing. Sometimes David does beat Goliath.

I am off for a walk in the Monument along the Colorado River...

Blessings to all!!

Congratulations Allan (and Joni).

Obviously the stars are shining bright tonight. Cherish those girls!

I am sure that tonight will be one of the most enjoyable walks of the year.

As I said to you awhile ago...trust goodness.

Tears stung my eyes when I read your wonderful news. What a burden has been lifted from your family. Enjoy that incredible sense of relief. Just BREATHE again.

Yes you were right Larry. Thanks.

And woods, thanks for your kind words and concern. :)

I put the photo of Kylie up above because her life was at such a crossroads. We were told we were going to lose. We even told the girls that next week they would probably be moving to Colorado to be with their Dad. But, as we were concerned he would, he reverted to some old behaviors.

I guess you never know what is gonna happen when you get up in the morning...

Thanks again...

allan.

Wow! Blessings to you all.

6 miles on the bike today. Bought a basket for the front, to leave behind as part of my legacy, and to look forward to using next time around...

Yesterday I walked 3.14 miles, according to the pedometer. Actually, I ran some of that, across O'Hare, just in time to see my flight to Portland push away from the gate... Four airports, three flights, one late, and one landing in the wrong city, but I arrived in Fryeburg, Maine by 3:45 AM, thanks to my brother and no thanks to United Airlines, Travelocity, or Alamo.
